THE HARTFIELD TRILOGY

A dramatic series set at Hartfield House, spanning one hundred years of history. It follows the separate lives of three diverse women, each burdened with the responsibilities of their era. Starting in 1899, when Hartfield is a private home, to 1944 when it's requisitioned as a Special Operations Executive Training School, to 1999 as a private educational establishment, Hartfield School. 

PART 1:

THE WARD'S ASSENT

A Victorian heiress is forced to accept an arranged marriage with an irascible bachelor on his sprawling country estate, only to fall into a torrid affair with the young woman in his care.

PART 2: 

UNTITLED 

The heiress to Hartfield House is sent to oversee its requisition as an SOE Training School and acquire a dashing husband, but inadvertently acquires a love of a different kind, one that can’t produce the next heir.

THE LONGFORD AFFAIR

When a sixth-form student falls for her female history teacher,

she must choose between the future she desires

and the future expected of her.

THE INSPECTOR'S DAUGHTER

Set in 1910, Florence is determined to spread her wings and follow in her father's footsteps in solving crime. Together with roving reporter Lucy, they fight the odds and decide to pool resources to solve the disappearance of children in the town.

Two middle-aged mothers, both happily married but closeted bisexuals are given the opportunity to confront their growing desire for each other on a girls’ weekend away.

When a woman in her 70s decides it's time to finally scatter her deceased husband's ashes, her daughter is shocked and upset to discover she is dating a woman.
